Because when there is joy, learning stays.

Let me start this blog with a slightly self-indulgent moment. What a great gift it is, sometimes, to be so tired on the train ride home that I can no longer continue with my current reading. In that moment of pause, almost without thinking, I open my phone’s photo gallery.

And I start going through the day through images.

Photo 1: working on length, measuring everything around us, playing with centimetres and millimetres in our everyday environment.

Photo 2: practising vocabulary with a memory game.

Photo 3: learning about different cities around the world and their unique features, discovering curiosities that spark wonder.

And there is something all these photos have in common: their smiles. Complicit glances, shared excitement, and that clear feeling of being great companions in learning.

I don’t know if the day has been perfect in every moment, but there is something in these images that stays. A sense of connection. Of curiosity.

Because when there is joy, learning stays.
